I don't know what to add to "From Political Correctness to DEI: (From the best of intentions to thoroughly hellish circumstances) part 2"
We are in chaos; and there might be some inadvertent benefits like cutting back the worst of DEI bureaucracies. But who knows what all will make its way through the courts, about layoffs, firings, and the like
There has also, in the last decade, been a fast-moving Palestinianization of universities due to DEI's classification of Jews and Israelis as "oppressors" and Palestinians as victims. This is Marxist playbook followed by corrupt BLM and other unsavory, pro-terrorist organizations.
Remarkably and exceptionally among academic organizations, the American History Association Council just rejected a floor motions (passed with heavy support) to condemn Israel for "scholasticide." The Council deemed the motion beyond the actions authorized by the organization's constitution. My own disciplinary organization, the American Anthropological Association, has gone pro-Palestinian and pro-terrorist in a big way.

Dear Dr. Bauer, will you be posting an article regarding the recent NIH/Federal research budget cuts/layoffs and DEI shutdown?
