Science is not a guide to morality. It is immoral to sterilize people even if you think their undesirable characteristics will be inherited. Much of the corruption in science today is due to the corruption of ethics in science, in which scientists have placed economic and ideological interests above ethical conduct. The Covid mess was rife with this sort of scientific misconduct.
HIV is a lab artifact caused by stressing cell cultures, and the proteins that are expressed in the culture that band at the 1.16 g/m density that most commonly react with antibodies from clinical AIDS patients (such as p24) are used as the basis for the antibody tests. That's why there is a correlation between testing positive and developing AIDS-defining opportunistic infections.

1 What stressing the cell culture? (is it not a virus)
2 is the P24 not specific to HIV? 1.16g/m density is it not weight of Viruses?
